Located in the Prepared Foods Heat & Serve area of the popular market, the new Lika®-branded section offers four Lika® vegan dishes, including the two original selections, Chinese-style Beef & Broccoli and Classic BBQ beef, as well as the addition of Lika® with Coconut Curry and Lika® with Masala Curry. The Coconut Curry selection delivers a rich, exotic, fragrant and perfectly blended creamy taste while the Masala Curry is a savory, aromatic tomato-based entrée with exotic spices, including turmeric, with mouth watering-seasoned flavor. Both cuisine items come with Lika®-style vegetables.
Resulting from its successful Southern California premiere Lika® vegan cuisine, Whole Foods Market has expanded the line into all of its locations throughout the Southern Pacific region, including Arizona, Nevada, Southern California and Hawaii.
The Lika®-branded section located at the Playa Vista flagship store – which features signage designed and produced by Whole Foods Market – follows on the heels of the vegan cuisine line’s extraordinary performance at locations across Southern California, where more than 20,000 customers purchased Lika® Beef & Broccoli and BBQ Beef at Whole Foods Markets in downtown Los Angeles, Venice, 3rd & Fairfax, Glendale, Santa Monica, El Segundo, Hillcrest (San Diego), Long Beach and Playa Vista.
